Set in the idyllic rural hamlet of Castle Ashby, just 6 miles south east of Northampton, this traditional 16th century country hotel presents itself as the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend break.
The Falcon is part of the Compton Estate, owned by Lord Northampton, and situated in the pretty hamlet of Castle Ashby. The Estate does, in fact, own the entire hamlet which is untouched by time and quintessentially English, with many walking routes through the beautiful surroundings and a small courtyard of shops.
A traditional country hotel, The Falcon's emphasis is on excellent food and service. The restaurant serves modern English cuisine, prepared using fresh local ingredients, where possible. The oak-beamed Cellar Bar has a fine selection of beers and wines with which to accompany the excellent bar meals.
The hotel's 2 fully-equipped meeting rooms can accommodate up to 40 people for special occasions or business events.

This small, rural village is easily accessible from Northampton, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Wellingborough as it is within easy reach of the A45, A14 and M1.
By Car:
- Take the M1.
- Exit at junction 15 (Northampton).
- Take the A45.
- Exit at junction 10 for Castle Ashby and Earls Barton.
Or:
- Take the M1.
- Exit at junction 15 (Northampton).
- Take the A428 to Bedford.
- After 5 miles, turn left to Castle Ashby.
